letโ€™s fix each otherโ€™s crowns when theyโ€™re tilted.

For years, up to and including when I got married, my orientation was incredibly incendiary and argumentative for my family and I. While it is still a work in progress, we are in a much better place than we were. Time brings healing and acceptance but it takes work.

My coming out experience with my family was probably the most tenuous and awkward periods in my life. It was an incredible challenge and there are still relatives whom have not acknowledged my marriage, however, there is always light in the dark. Iโ€™m here to show the bright side of coming out.

My father and I have not been in one anotherโ€™s lives regularly since I was a kid before my parents divorce. It has often felt as if he abandoned us to start a new family but sometimes the absence of one thing lays the groundwork for something more, letโ€™s talk about how we grow there.

My husband & I have been together for 9 years and married for 3. Weโ€™ve learned that love is part of the story but thereโ€™s so much more. Marriage and relationships can be both beautiful and challenging; so it never hurts to provide a listening ear about one of lifeโ€™s greatest adventures.
